Getting paid
Deposits that end the no-show problem.
Ask new clients for a deposit when they book. Paying it saves their card too, so a no-show costs them rather than you.

In detail
What a deposit actually protects.
01
New clients, not your regulars
New and existing clients are set up separately, so strangers pay a deposit and the woman who has come for three years does not.
02
A sum or a percentage
Ten pounds flat, or a share of the treatment total, up to the whole thing.
03
Charge the balance later
The saved card can take the remainder at the appointment, so nobody is hunting for a card at the end.
04
Refund on your terms
If a booking falls through you decide how much to give back, booking by booking.

Paid before they arrive
The deposit is taken when they book, and it saves their card at the same time.
The balance on the day
Hold their card to your iPhone for the rest. No reader, nothing to buy.

Every payment lands in your income, listed by client, with the fees already taken off.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
When is the deposit taken?
You choose: at checkout on your website, or after you have approved the booking request. You can also turn deposits off entirely.
Can I charge regulars a deposit but not new clients, or the other way round?
Yes. New clients and existing clients are configured completely separately, so you can ask strangers for a deposit and let your regulars book without one.
How does charging a no-show work?
When a client pays a deposit their card details are captured at the same time. That saved card can then be charged for the remaining balance at the appointment, or in the event of a no-show or late cancellation.
What if I want to let someone off?
You can. If payment has already been made, you decide how much to refund for each booking, case by case. Nothing is automatic.
