What is a cancellation policy?

It is the notice you need and what you charge if a client cancels inside it. On Solo you set it once and every client agrees to it when they book, so there is nothing to argue about later.

Do clients have to accept my terms?

You can make acceptance mandatory, so a booking cannot confirm until they have agreed. It is the simplest way to protect your time.

Can I charge a cancellation fee?

Yes. With card details saved at booking you can charge your cancellation fee or keep the deposit, case by case. You decide each time.

Can I change the policy for one client?

Yes. Your cancellation policy can be changed per booking, for the regular you would never charge or the client who has let you down before.
